Ever wonder
why that tape you brought from overseas never worked on your VCR?
Or why your tape you took overseas never worked over there? The
reason is that there are several different video standards in the
world.
Most of the world (Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia and South America)
uses the PAL system. North America & Japan uses the NTSC system.
France uses the SECAM system. All three of these systems are NOT
compatible with each other. Hence a tape must be converted so
it can be used in another country using a different system. Click
here to see a list of all countries and what system they are.
At Overseas Video Lab, we provide high quality standards conversions.
Our facilities are one of the largest in North America. All of
our equipment is state of the art, 4 field Digital Converters
from Snell & Wilcox and Video International. Unlike many others,
we do not use "cheap equipment" which produces undesirable results.
Television Stations, corporate companies and government departments
depend on our quality work on a daily basis. We provide both PAL
to NTSC and NTSC to PAL conversions.
We are able to convert from and to any system.
Also, we can convert in many different formats, such as Betacam,
SVHS, DVCPro, MiniDV, Hi8, 3/4 and others.
